Our services mainly cover the East of England, but we also provide national services

Preliminary assessment

The preliminary assessment is the first meeting we have, which usually takes place at your home.

If you live locally, we can arrange to have the assessment at our Rehabilitation Centre in Papworth Everard. This also gives you the chance to meet our team and look around the facilities.

How long will the assessment take?

The preliminary assessment lasts approximately 3 hours. We’ll talk to you about the impact your injury has had on your life. This may include health issues, treatments, work history and any other issues affecting your quality of life. You can also ask us any questions you have about our services.

What happens next?

The support we give you next is tailored to your needs.

After the assessment our team will make recommendations to support your recovery. You might be asked to attend a planning assessment, or it may be that we will recommend other more suitable support. This could include remote support while our clinical team liaise with medical professionals to organise further treatments or appointments.

There is no obligation for you to take our recommendations and our services may not be appropriate for everybody; if this should be the case we will recommend other support services in our assessment reports.
